Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Create structural modeling and design efforts using strong>Autodesk Revit/strong> for various building and infrastructure projects.

  • Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations using software such as strong>ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro/strong>, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, etc.).
  • Develop and manage highly detailed BIM models and associated documentation, integrating with multidisciplinary models (architecture, MEP, etc.).
  • Create and review design drawings, construction documents, and specifications with a focus on accuracy, coordination, and constructability.
  • Coordinate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure structural systems are fully integrated and feasible.
  • Assist in establishing and enforcing internal Revit standards, workflows, and quality control processes for structural design.
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, client presentations, and design review meetings.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master s degree preferred.
  • strong>Minimum of 5 to 7years of structural design experience/strong>, with strong>expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit/strong>.
  • Strong background in both strong>reinforced concrete and steel structures/strong> for mid- to large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency with structural analysis and design tools such as strong>ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro/strong>, and strong>AutoCAD/strong>.
  • Solid understanding of BIM workflows and model coordination techniques.
  • Experience with interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection tools (e.g., strong>Navisworks/strong>, strong>BIM 360/strong>).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex design issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with client-facing experience.
  • Experience working on high-rise buildings, commercial developments, or complex infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with international and local construction standards and permitting processes.
  • Experience leading BIM coordination meetings and working in a collaborative design environment.
  • Knowledge of parametric design or Dynamo scripting is a plus.
