Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex project requirements and develop efficient, innovative structural designs that comply with all applicable safety and performance standards.
  • Perform advanced structural calculations using recognized engineering principles and specialized software.
  • Select optimal construction materials and methods tailored to project-specific requirements.
  • Produce, review, and maintain detailed construction drawings, BIM models, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
  • Prepare and validate comprehensive technical reports, design documents, and structural calculations.
  • Ensure full compliance with the latest UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and international standards.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers as needed, promoting best practices and technical excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently delivering high-quality structural design solutions for a wide range of building projects across the UAE, with authorization to design buildings of unlimited height as per Dubai Municipality regulations (DM Unlimited License).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design within a leading engineering consultancy (with a proven track record in UAE projects).
  • Proven expertise in designing a wide variety of complex building structures.
  • Strong proficiency with structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE).
  • Solid understanding of DM regulations and experience with projects approved under DM Unlimited License.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in BIM modeling is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding quality.
