Key Responsibilities:

Structural Design and Analysis:

• Assist in the structural design process for building projects, including calculations, modeling, and load analysis.
• Develop safe and efficient structural solutions that comply with project specifications and standards.

Project Support and Coordination:

• Support senior engineers in managing structural engineering aspects throughout project stages.
• Prepare structural drawings, plans, and specifications under guidance, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Building Code and Compliance:

• Ensure designs adhere to local and international building codes and safety regulations.
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and integrating safety measures into designs.

Material Selection and Documentation:

• Assist in selecting suitable materials for projects based on structural requirements and budget considerations.
• Prepare material specifications and maintain accurate project documentation.

Site Supervision and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct site visits under supervision to ensure construction work aligns with design specifications.
• Support quality control checks and report discrepancies to senior engineers.

Coordination and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems into projects.
• Communicate effectively with project managers to align timelines and deliverables.

Innovation and Sustainable Design:

• Apply sustainable design principles and materials to enhance structural efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
• Explore modern structural methods and technologies to improve building performance.

Critical Competencies:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, load analysis, and construction materials. Familiarity with structural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000).
