Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute civil & structural engineering design activities for ADNOC Onshore Oil & Gas facilities, including:cPipe racks, equipment foundations, compressor foundations,Control rooms, substations, shelters, buildings, Underground structures and concrete works

  • Develop and review structural design calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables in line with ADNOC Onshore specifications and standards.

  • Ensure full compliance with ADNOC Engineering Standards, UAE codes, and international standards such as ACI, AISC, API, BS, and Eurocodes.

  • Support engineering during FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and PMC phases.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure design integration and clash-free execution.

  • Review and approve vendor drawings, design calculations, and technical submissions.

  • Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, constructability reviews, and technical clarification meetings with ADNOC and PMC.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior structural engineers.

  • Support site engineering activities, respond to Technical Queries (TQs), NCRs, and resolve construction-stage design issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.

  • 11+ years of proven experience in Oil & Gas civil & structural engineering, with ADNOC Onshore project exposure preferred.

  • Strong experience working with EPC contractors or engineering consultancies on ADNOC projects.

  • Thorough knowledge of ADNOC Onshore Engineering Standards (AES) and project specifications.

  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, SACS, ETABS, SAFE or equivalent.

  • Solid understanding of international codes and standards: ACI, AISC, API, BS, Eurocodes.

  • Experience in client / PMC interface, technical reviews, and project coordination.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

  • Prior experience on ADNOC Onshore EPC projects in UAE. (Preferred)

  • Experience with brownfield and greenfield facilities. (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with UAE Authority approvals and ADNOC work processes. (Preferred).
