Role Summary
The Primary role of the Senior Structure Design Engineer to prepare preliminary designs for various structures to support the unit s steel upgrades projects through providing structural engineering and land surveying management expertise, support and specialist advice to the corporate property division and its clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on structural analyses for offshore structures, with a primary focus on Jack-up Rigs.
- Conduct extensive analyses of hull structures, including local strength, global strength, and fatigue.
- Develop and create workshop drawings.
- Conduct rig surveys and assessments.
- Ensure designs comply with industry-recommended practices and applicable class rules (e.g., ABS, DNV).

Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in Steel Structures.
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on Offshore Structures.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the shipbuilding and offshore industry.
- Demonstrated experience in shipyard projects or Offshore Steel construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of design using standard codes and rules (e.g., AISC, API).
- Proficiency in structural analysis software programs (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Staad Pro).
