Senior Supervisor Engineering

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and coordinate daily engineering operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Lead and support the engineering team in responding promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues.
Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of preventive maintenance programs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Monitor the condition, usage, and inventory of engineering tools, equipment, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards across all hotel areas, including back-of-house and public spaces.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimal disruption to guest experience.
Track, prioritize, and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
Support and guide the team in executing infrastructure improvements, repairs, and ongoing projects.
Handle guest interactions professionally when addressing maintenance-related concerns.
Assist in managing departmental resources, including cost control, budgeting, and expense tracking.
Train, mentor, and develop engineering team members to enhance performance and technical skills.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
4 6 years of experience in engineering or maintenance within hospitality, with at least 1 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of engineering systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team.
Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards.
Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks when required.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
