Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
FDC is looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Officer to lead and oversee supply chain operations across our brands. This role manages inventory planning, supplier relations, shipment coordination, and warehouse delivery while ensuring cost efficiency, high quality, and timely execution. The Senior Supply Chain Officer also drives process improvements, supervises the team, and supports budgeting and financial analysis for supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead inventory monitoring and update purchase plans based on sales, forecasts, and marketing inputs.
Oversee procurement processes, ensuring supplier compliance with terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate shipments, freight routing, insurance, documentation, customs clearance, and warehouse operations.
Manage supplier payments, Letters of Credit, and cash/clearing forecasts.
Analyze order volumes and provide insights to optimize inventory and supply chain performance.
Supervise and mentor the FMCG supply chain team; train new joiners.
Prepare performance reports, landed cost studies, and budget variance analyses.
Continuously review and improve supply chain workflows and processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration (MBA preferred).
3 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or demand planning, preferably in FMCG.
Certifications in logistics, forecasting, or Letters of Credit are a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and MS Excel.
Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
Strong leadership, analytical, reporting, and organizational skills.
Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple stakeholders.
