Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, administer, and maintain the Temenos T24 Core Banking system, ensuring stability, performance, and security
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and operational efficiency
  • Perform COB operations, system housekeeping, and routine administrative tasks
  • Ensure regular system backups and maintain effective disaster recovery procedures
  • Apply patches, updates, and system upgrades in line with best practices and organizational standards
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, including performance bottlenecks, errors, and outages
  • Provide technical support to users and assist with system-related training as required
  • Implement and maintain security controls to protect the T24 system and sensitive banking data
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Support integration of T24 with other banking applications and third-party systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Coordinate with Temenos and third-party vendors for support, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Manage UXP, Browser Web, and Transact the latest browser configuration and installation on the application server

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • 8 10 years of experience in Temenos T24 Core Banking system administration and product support, with at least 6+ years of hands-on experience specifically on T24
  • Strong experience handling COB (Close of Business) and other system administration activities
  • Experience in housekeeping activities, system monitoring, and technical analysis
  • Prior experience working in a banking environment is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Strong understanding of T24 modules, COB processing, and TAFJ (Temenos Application Framework for Java)
  • Familiarity with Oracle or other databases used with Temenos T24
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and operational efficiency
  • Experience with T24 upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
  • Certification in Temenos T24 or related technologies is a plus
  • Experience with cloud-based T24 deployments is preferred
  • Solid understanding of banking operations and financial products
  • This role is open to candidates from the Southeast Asia region (Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Maldives, Nepal, etc.). The selected candidate must be willing to relocate to Libya.
