Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Build, maintain, and troubleshoot company infrastructure (servers, networks, virtualization).
Deployment: Install and configure company products at customer sites (onsite or remote).
Support & Troubleshooting:
- Handle helpdesk tickets and escalate to the 3rd level when needed.
Documentation: Create environment diagrams, installation/configuration guides, FAQs, and knowledge bases.
Training: Deliver technical training to clients.
Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers and technical teams for smooth deployments.
Monitoring & Automation: Automate system monitoring tasks using standard tools.
Customer Engagement: Communicate professionally via email, phone, and chat.
Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux.
Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching.
Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.
Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Office 365.
Server-side Software: Active Directory, Exchange, Teams.
Web & Database Administration:
- IIS (Internet Information Services) administration.
- SQL Server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Scripting: PowerShell or similar for automation.
Security: Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and system hardening.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years in system/network administration or similar roles.
Certifications: MCSE, CCNA.
