Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Active Directory Administration

  • Administer and maintain Domain Controllers, (OUs) & User and Group Management

  • Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory replication and authentication issues.

  • Conduct routine AD health checks and maintenance activities.

  • Support domain security hardening and compliance initiatives.

  • Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID is a plus.


Group Policy Management

  • Design, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

  • Implement security policies and system restrictions using GPOs.


Enterprise Veeam Backup Administration

  • Administer and manage Enterprise Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure.

  • Conduct restores testing and disaster recovery exercises and optimize backup performance.

  • Manage backup repositories, retention policies, and storage utilization.


Infrastructure Support & Monitoring

  • Monitor server Domain Controller & Backup infrastructure availability and performance.

Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents. 

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Certification –

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in System Administration or Infrastructure Support roles.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent Microsoft certifications

  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)


Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

  • Microsoft Active Directory

  • Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

  • Windows Server Administration

  • Veeam Backup & Replication

  • Understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts.

  • Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices.

  • Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with virtualization and storage technologies.
