Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the taxation team, providing strategic guidance and oversight.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies to optimize the company s tax position.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations at local, national, and international levels.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns and tax provision calculations.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and consultants.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Advise senior management and stakeholders on tax implications of business decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and controls.
  • Identify tax risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Prepare detailed tax reports and presentations for executive leadership.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced tax certification highly preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in taxation, with substantial experience in a managerial or senior managerial role.
  • Deep knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing tax strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tax software, financial systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
