Job Title: Senior Tech Lead
Location: Kuwait City, Kuwait Company: Mubtaker Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role: We are looking for a visionary Senior Tech Lead to join Mubtaker during our exciting 2026 expansion. You will be the technical cornerstone of our engineering team, responsible for architecting scalable solutions, mentoring high-performing developers, and bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of high-performance, scalable, and secure system architectures.
Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Technical Roadmap: Drive the 2026 technical roadmap, ensuring all solutions align with long-term business goals.
Code Quality: Establish and maintain rigorous standards for code quality, testing, and deployment (CI/CD).
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile
Technical Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years in Software Development with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
Stack Expertise: Strong command over Python (Django/Flask), Node.js, or PHP (Laravel) architectures. (Adjust based on your final stack preference).
Databases: Deep experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases and performance optimization.
Infrastructure: Solid understanding of Cloud Services (AWS/Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Full-stack Knowledge: Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue/Angular) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of scaling platforms to handle high traffic and complex data pipelines.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a "product-first" mindset.
Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
