Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all technical office activities related to office furniture and interior projects.

  • Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and project management teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide solutions for design and engineering challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff within the technical office.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations to management.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a technical office engineering role, preferably within office furniture or interior fit-out sectors.
  • Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and project documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices related to office interiors and furniture manufacturing.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior engineers or technical staff.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design and engineering software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work on-site as required by project demands.
