Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex plumbing system designs, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations, and optimizing for efficiency and sustainability.
- Conduct thorough reviews of plumbing blueprints and specifications, identifying potential issues and providing expert recommendations for improvements.
- Manage and coordinate plumbing projects from inception to completion, including budget management, resource allocation, and timeline adherence.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, fostering their professional development and ensuring quality workmanship.
- Perform detailed site inspections to assess existing plumbing infrastructure, diagnose problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and clients, ensuring clear communication and project success.
- Stay abreast of the latest plumbing technologies, materials, and industry best practices, integrating innovative solutions into projects.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, technical documentation, and presentations, effectively communicating project status and findings to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex plumbing system failures, utilizing diagnostic tools and analytical skills to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all plumbing work adheres to the highest safety standards, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing risks.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certified in relevant plumbing codes and standards, ensuring expertise in industry regulations.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in plumbing & fire fighting systems
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions.
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers and technicians.
