Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Manager is responsible for leading technical operations, engineering teams, and project execution to ensure the successful delivery of organizational objectives. The role involves managing technical staff, overseeing project planning and implementation, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across technical functions. The Senior Technical Manager acts as a strategic leader, providing technical expertise, operational guidance, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client and company requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage technical teams across multiple projects or operational areas.

  • Provide technical direction& problem-solving support for the project teams members.

  • Review technical designs, specifications, methodologies, and project deliverables.

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of technical projects.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop technical staff and engineers.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development initiatives.

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet operational and project requirements.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance work culture.

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and senior management.

  • Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and performance metrics.

  • Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, and strategic planning discussions.

  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.

  • Assist in preparing departmental budgets and resource forecasts.

  • Monitor project expenditures and optimize cost efficiency.

  • Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.



Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Master’s Degree or professional certifications are an advantage.

  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant technical or engineering experience.

  • At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Experience managing large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent technical and analytical abilities.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
