Roles & Responsibilities
Description
• Prepare, review, and revise lighting shop drawings, single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, and BOQs.
• Ensure all drawings and documents comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate with the design team for lighting calculations (e.g., Dialux/Relux) and photometric analysis.
• Prepare technical submittals for lighting fixtures and control systems.
• Review supplier quotations and ensure technical compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for material ordering and delivery schedules.
• Liaise between design, construction, and procurement departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Respond to RFIs, site queries, and client/consultant comments on technical submissions.
• Attend coordination meetings to resolve technical issues and ensure project timelines are met.
• Ensure all lighting systems comply with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, EN, NFPA, LEED, etc.).
• Keep up-to-date with innovations and best practices in lighting technologies and controls.
• Prepare regular technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Maintain well-organized records of drawings, submittals, approvals, and correspondence
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related major from a reputable university.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in a related field.
• Proven experience in architectural, industrial, fa ade, or smart lighting.
• Fluency in English is a must.
