Senior Technical Office Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Study the project contract documents (Specs, design drawings, Calculation, BOQ, etc.) and issue a distribution network study report , supervision quotation, and the electricity fed-in quotation.
• Review and approve of contractors' submittals i.e. material submittals, shop drawings, . etc. ensuring the compliance with Egyptian, safety and international standards.
• Applying the value base engineering approaches in order to have an optimal and adequate valid design while achieving the maximum possible cost savings.
• Meet and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to get all their requirements communicated, reviewed, and approved.
• Witness the site and factory acceptance tests for different electrical equipment ensuring workmanship and materials meet the required standards.
• Perform site inspections, Check the quality of the work executed as per project specifications and local and international standards.
• Respond to Contractor's site requests and comment on the inspection reports.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning process for the different electrical systems.
• Review and approve all Project Closeout documents i.e. As-Built drawings, operation and maintenance data, and warranties.
• Follow-up O&M Team, respond to the site requests, and supervise any modifications to the distribution network.
• analyze new opportunities and the effect on the distribution netwo
• Review and approve PV system submittals (single line diagram, calculation, and equipment Specifications).

Skills:

• Highly skilled in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Supplier management skills.
• Very good command of the English Language.
