Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue necessary shop and coordination drawings for all allocated projects, ensuring accuracy and quality standards while identifying conflicts between design components.
- Create and submit all required technical submittals.
- Study and prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) for any missing, unclear, or conflicting technical matters during construction.
- Discuss and propose technical solutions for design drawings.
- Conduct quantity surveys for all finishing works across trades, using computer programs or manual methods to ensure accuracy in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
- Visit sites to compile necessary measurements and coordinate with surveying engineers to provide relevant information.
- Participate in value engineering studies and change order evaluations as requested.
- Assist in preparing invoices for subcontractors and clients.
- Update the shop drawing log before submitting drawings to the consultant for approval.
- Attend progress technical meetings as required.
- Carry out drafting tasks as needed.
- Review contracts from a technical perspective.
- Contribute to the preparation of construction method statements and work plans.
- Ensure clients' needs are met as the project evolves.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Collaborate with the design team on value engineering as per client budget constraints.
- Inform the Principal and General Manager of any unexpected project delays.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the Principal or General Manager.
- Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, tracking changes, delays, and regular progress reports throughout the project duration.
- Archive all project closure documents for future reference.
- Prepare as-built drawings and verify them against actual site dimensions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and lighting designers as needed.
- Review, study, and coordinate design drawings, BoQ, specifications, subcontractors shop drawings, and cost estimates.
- Communicate with site personnel to follow up on design conflicts, site measurements, and variation orders.
- Produce CAD drawings for presentations, including plans, elevations, sections, and architectural specifications.
- Prepare workshop drawings for woodwork and furniture details, including joinery, doors, cornices, architraves, bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to develop and produce client concept designs and presentation documents, including plans, elevations, perspective visuals, and furniture drawings.
- Source furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) and liaise with suppliers.
- Consider materials and costs in accordance with the established budget.
- Oversee BIM processes, standards, and workflows across disciplines.
- Develop architectural and interior design solutions effectively.
- Manage technical documentation and coordinate project workflows to enhance efficiency and design quality.
- Experienced in Level of Development (LOD) 350 model development and BIM standards implementation.
- Resolve BIM clashes and ensure smooth multidisciplinary coordination.
- Possess professional expertise in Revit and advanced BIM strategies.
- Focus on the technical aspects of interior design, ensuring compliance and precision.
Desired Candidate Profile
General Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering/interior Design With Six to Twelve Years of Experience.
- Accuracy and Attention to Details.
- Comperhensive Knowledge of Architectural and Interior Design Standards and Codes.
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Computer-aided Design Auto Cad &software and Tools Related
- to the Architectural Department.
- Very Good Communication Skills.
- Very Good Leadership Skills.
- Very Good Problem-solving Skills.
- Excellent Level of English Language.
- Thorough and Professional Level of Experience in Design Software (Autocad, Revit Sketchup,Photoshop).
- An Ability to Prepare Schedules and Step-by-step Action Plans.
- Solid Organizational Skills, Including Multitasking and Time-management.
Well Organized and Efficient. - Able to Manage the Workload and Meet Deadlines Without Fail.
- Attention to Details and Flexible and Self-motivated.
- Good Technical Knowledge With the Ability to Produce Detailed Interior Architecture and Joinery.
- Flexible and Self-motivated.
- Fair Knowledge of 3dmax.
- Ability to Prepare Presentations Through the Use of Adobe Software Programs Such as Powerpoint.
