Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Manager Sales Technical Office, or his nominees, he/she will be responsible for:

Quotation and Submittal Preparation:

  • Prepare quotations for ductwork, dampers, louvers, and sound attenuators for customers in different regions (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman) using ERP systems and Costing sheets.
  • Create OERs (Order Evaluation Requests) for inquiries without a Purchase Order.
  • Prepare Order Acknowledgements.
  • Generate Sales Orders for all products in ERP systems.
  • Prepare submittals, including acoustic calculations and schedules

Technical Support and Sales Assistance:

  • Provide technical assistance to clients when required.
  • Assist the Sales Team with selections, technical support, and follow-up on quotations.
  • Prepare quotations, compliance statements, and technical submittals for ductwork, dampers, louvers, VAV boxes and sound attenuators.

Quantity Verification and Reporting:

  • Verify quantities for OPRs (Order Processing Requests) in accordance with relevant clients LPOs.
  • Provide approximate values for each OPR in the ERP.
  • Create OPRs for ductwork, dampers, louvers, VAV boxes and sound attenuators.

Client Communication and Coordination:

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, both through emails and phone calls.
  • Assist clients with their orders, deliveries, and required project documents.
  • Acknowledge client feedback and relay it to the team leader and management.

Order and Project Management:

  • Monitor order processing requests and manage incoming drawing requests for sales and engineering team.
  • Prepare AutoCAD Tag Drawings and tag lists for various stages of production.
  • Create Revit and 3D Drawings for all products
  • Create CAM and CAD BOQ for Duct layout drawings for production and order processing.
  • Work with other modelers and develop CAD and BIM team.
  • Produce production ready drawings - ensuring the drawing programs are compatible with the machinery along with all correct hardware & materials being selected
  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
  • Handle client and internal documentation efficiently.
  • Ensure that client and project deadlines are met.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Maintain effective communication and closed coordination with Finance, Production, and Logistics departments.
  • Collaborate with senior management regarding costing approvals for all projects.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Head on quality issues and technical feedback.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HVAC or relevant field.
  • Use of Autodesk Revit, AUTOCAD and BIM.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
