Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex steam turbine maintenance, overhauls, and troubleshooting activities, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose and rectify intricate mechanical and operational issues within steam turbine systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster skill development and team effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough inspections of steam turbine components, including blades, rotors, and casings, to identify potential failures and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Coordinate and manage maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and vendor interactions to optimize resource allocation and project timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in a large power station mechanical maintenance mainly having sufficient experience in Steam Turbine ,Rigger ,maintenance and trouble shooting. Responsible to carry out maintenance works on industrial steam Turbine Plant and Auxiliary Equipment. Take safety clearance & permit to work (LC) for respective equipment under maintenance and check for proper Isolation of the respective equipment for which LC is issued. Maintain all tools, tackles and testing Instruments used for maintenance work in serviceable condition. Must require skills in welding & fabrication works.
