Senior Technology Solution Architect Smart City

Qatar

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Technology Solution Architect Smart City to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will define the technical architecture for a multi domain, interdisciplinary, prestigious smart city project. You will leverage your expertise in smart city technologies, software integration, AI/ML, data management, and cloud platforms to design and deliver a robust, scalable, and secure solution that integrates seamlessly with a cosmopolitan scale infrastructure and its assets.

What You ll Be Doing

• Lead the design and development of the smart city platform architecture, providing subject matter expert level of solution analysis and architecture
• Ensure seamless and successful, multi-level, cross-platforms integration (vertical and horizontal) of the complete smart city eco system components (IT-OT-IoT)
• Ensure alignment of the entire eco system s technical deliverables to the key project objectives.
• Supervise Cloud and hybrid deployment and integration of the multiple solutions, ensuring optimum utilization of modern technologies.
• Advise on functional and aesthetic delivery of multi-level insights, dashboards and performance indicators
• Develop, review, enhance, and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and user guides.

What Required Skills You ll Bring

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of work experience in this field, in which at least five years of hands-on experience as a Solution Architect with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex enterprise-level solutions, Digital transformation projects, Legacy Modernization and Migration Projects.
• In depth know how of cross-platform interoperability and Enterprise Integration Architectures, API platforms, Microservices, ESBs, containerization, virtualization, agile integration
• Solid knowledge of Real-Time Data Streaming and API Integration,
• Thorough understanding of data management and analysis, cloud sizing and utilization, UI/UX, and AI utilization in multi-faceted dynamic environment, with SDL management experience
• Sound knowledge of Spatial data integration and visualization with platforms, databases, and IoT.
• Mastering software projects development in Agile Environment
• Strong Vendor management capacity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

What Desired Skills You ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience in smart city programs, large urban infrastructure, or city scale digital platforms.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms and their architecture best practices for large scale, mission critical solutions.
• Experience with security by design principles and compliance in large, integrated environments (IT OT IoT).
• Cultural awareness and previous experience working in the Middle East and/or Qatar, with an understanding of Middle East/Qatar market dynamics, is considered a strong plus.
• Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
