Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Study and analyze tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQs, conditions, etc.).
Prepare cost estimates for civil, architectural items.
Prepare technical and commercial offers.
Coordinate with the Procurement department to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Evaluate and compare prices to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and clarification processes.
Coordinate with planning, engineering, and site teams to validate cost assumptions.
Follow up on submitted tenders and participate in negotiation processes.
Maintain and update cost databases and records of previous projects.
Support in value engineering and cost optimization proposals.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years and up to 7 years of relevant experience in tendering within the engineering or construction sector.
Proven expertise in preparing and submitting tenders for large-scale civil and/or architectural projects.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with local and international construction standards and regulations.
Proficiency in tendering software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
