Senior Tendering & Estimation Engineer

Study and analyze tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQs, conditions, etc.).

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, architectural, and MEP works.
• Prepare and compile technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Liaise with procurement to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Evaluate and compare prices to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and clarification processes.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, and site teams to validate cost assumptions.
• Follow up on submitted tenders and participate in negotiation processes.
• Maintain and update cost databases and records of previous projects.
• Support in value engineering and cost optimization proposals.

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, market rates, and cost control systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Plan Swift, or similar).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
