Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Study and analyze tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQs, conditions, etc.).
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, architectural, and MEP works.
- Prepare and compile technical and commercial tender submissions.
- Liaise with procurement to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Evaluate and compare prices to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and clarification processes.
- Coordinate with planning, engineering, and site teams to validate cost assumptions.
- Follow up on submitted tenders and participate in negotiation processes.
- Maintain and update cost databases and records of previous projects.
- Support in value engineering and cost optimization proposals.
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, market rates, and cost control systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Plan Swift, or similar).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Architecture.
- 5 7 years of relevant experience in tendering and estimation within a Finishing company.
- Good in English.
