Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the planning, design, and implementation of traffic and transportation engineering projects, ensuring alignment with SEERO s standards and client objectives.
Conduct advanced traffic analysis, modeling, and simulation using industry-standard software to optimize traffic flow and safety.
Develop and review transportation studies, impact assessments, and feasibility reports for urban and regional projects.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, urban planners, and construction managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
Prepare technical documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications for project proposals and tender submissions.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Engage with stakeholders, government agencies, and clients to present findings, address concerns, and secure project approvals.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Implement innovative and sustainable traffic management strategies to address complex urban mobility challenges.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously enhance project outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years and up to 9 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering.
Proven track record in leading traffic studies, transportation planning, and engineering design projects.
Strong proficiency in traffic modeling and simulation software such as SYNCHRO, VISSIM, or similar tools.
Excellent knowledge of international and local transportation standards, codes, and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Experience working in an office-based environment with occasional site visits as required.
