About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Transport Modeller and Mobility Planner to help deliver complex transport planning and mobility projects in UAE and the wider GCC region. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a good understanding of sustainable and smart mobility solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Update, calibrate, and apply strategic transport models for preparation of multi-modal transport demand forecasts, scenario analysis, and option testing.
• Analyse outputs to support multi-modal transport and mobility studies, traffic impact assessments, master planning, and transport strategy development.
• Manage medium to large tasks, small project teams, and timelines across various stages of planning and execution.
• Provide technical input on transport policy, active mobility, transit-oriented development, and smart city initiatives.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders on technical matters and present modelling outcomes and progress reports to them.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development efforts.
• Prepare and present clear and technically sound reports, proposals, and presentations.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Master s degree or PHD in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong analytical background.
• Demonstrated experience working in a Western country (e.g., UK, Europe, North America, Australia/New Zealand) is highly desirable, to bring innovative thinking, international best practices, and new approaches to transport and mobility challenges.
• Strong proficiency in one or more transport modelling tools such as VISUM, VISSIM, Aimsun, Cube, or similar).
• Daa analysis and programming skills using Python is highly desirable.
• Experience in applying modelling for transport strategies, master plans, or impact assessments.
• Knowledge of transport planning principles, sustainable mobility, and smart transport systems.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and report-writing skills.
• Previous experience in the GCC is an advantage but not essential.
