Senior UX Researcher AI-Enabled Ventures

As a Senior UX Researcher, you ll play a central role in shaping the future of new ventures by uncovering real user needs and enabling evidence-based product decisions. Working alongside product managers, designers, engineers, and venture strategists, you ll lead research across the entire product lifecycle from early opportunity discovery to in-market evaluation.

You ll bring a strong foundation in qualitative and mixed methods, but also a pragmatic mindset that favors lean, iterative learning over heavy research cycles. In our environment, research is embedded not outsourced. And with AI as part of our standard workflow, you ll be expected to use tools that amplify speed, synthesis, and storytelling without compromising rigor.

This role is ideal for a researcher who thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable influencing without authority, and deeply believes in helping teams learn continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-lead product discovery efforts with PMs, designers, and venture teams shaping product direction through user insight

• Select and execute research methods that best match the decision being made from generative interviews to concept validation and in-field testing

• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notably, Dovetail AI, Claude, Fireflies) to accelerate research planning, note-taking, analysis, and synthesis

• Continuously identify key assumptions, surface user risks, and help teams test the riskiest parts of their product ideas

• Translate insights into clear opportunity spaces, user archetypes, JTBD frameworks, and actionable recommendations

• Communicate research findings with clarity and context, adapting for different audiences (execs, PMs, designers, engineers)

• Coach teams on discovery techniques and foster a shared culture of curiosity, evidence, and continuous learning

• Establish and evolve lightweight research ops where needed (e.g., consent, data handling, tagging, libraries)
