Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior UX Researcher at Tarjama&, you will be responsible for shaping user experiences by leading research initiatives that inform product strategy, structure, and design decisions across multiple platforms. Your work will directly influence how we create meaningful and usable solutions for our users.
Desired Candidate Profile
User Research Execution
- Plan and execute UX research across the product lifecycle, from discovery to post-launch, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations, and other research methods as needed.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify industry trends, user expectations, and product positioning opportunities.
- Collaborate with data analysts and product teams to combine behavioral data with research findings.
Insights & Design Guidance
- Translate research findings into actionable insights, personas, journey maps, information architecture, and recommendations that guide design and product decisions.
- Lead the creation and validation of product information architecture, including navigation structures, content grouping, and user flows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product managers, designers, and developers to identify user needs, behaviors, and pain points across SaaS and POS systems, ensuring experiences are intuitive and aligned with business goals.
- Champion a user-centered mindset within cross-functional teams.
- Drive a research roadmap, aligning with product and business priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in HCI, Psychology, Design, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in UX research, preferably on SaaS platforms.
- Proven experience with a range of research methods (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, surveys, A/B testing, etc.).
- Strong understanding of the SaaS and POS product lifecycle and how research impacts each stage.
- Experience designing and validating information architecture (e.g., through card sorting, tree testing).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market and competitor analysis to support product strategy.
- Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in research and analysis tools such as Maze, Clarity, Hotjar, and Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present complex research findings to stakeholders.
