Job Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of new website pages from concept to publication, including developing content structure, page flow, messaging, and user-focused layout.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure content vision, layout hierarchy, and user experience are implemented effectively
• Apply basic SEO principles, such as proper use of headings, meta descriptions, internal linking, and keyword usage.
• Ensure content layout is user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and visually aligned with web design standards.
• Maintain and update website sections to ensure information is current and relevant.
• Draft, edit, and proofread content for website, blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
• Establish the creation of copy for digital marketing campaigns, including banners, landing pages, and newsletters.
• Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other team members to ensure content aligns with visual and campaign objectives.
• Ensure grammatical accuracy, formal consistency, and tone alignment with guidelines.
• Recommend content edits or updates based on audience engagement and feedback trends
• Collaborate with faculties and departments to review and enhance their web content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with university branding.
• Participate in editorial review sessions and contribute ideas for new digital content formats or themes.
• Stay updated on trends in digital content, web usability, and SEO best practices.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Line Manager

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication and Mass Media Journalism, English.

Experience

• 3 -4 years of experience in a content
• creation, editorial, or digital media role.

Technical Skills /

• Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines under supervision.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Canva
