Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and develop SCADA system architecture and configurations for industrial automation projects.

Support engineering activities including system design, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning.

Prepare and manage project engineering documentation, including design specifications, configuration files, diagrams, and test plans.

Coordinate with clients, EPC contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams for smooth project execution.

Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and commissioning at project sites.

Monitor project scope changes and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) variations.

Ensure adherence to project schedules, engineering standards, and quality requirements.

Troubleshoot complex SCADA issues and provide technical support during project execution and post deployment.

Evaluate sub-vendor technical proposals and equipment specifications.

Ensure efficient utilization of engineering resources and project timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • PLC programming - (IEC61131-3)
  • Microsoft OS System Administration
  • Hands-on experience with Yokogawa CI Server, FASTTOOLS (FT), STARDOM / PLC preferred.
  • 610 years of experience in SCADA engineering preferably in Oil & Gas, Pipeline, Utilities, or industrial automation sectors.
  • Strong expertise in SCADA architecture, configuration, and system integration.
  • Experience with PLC programming and telemetry systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Job Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS, DNP3, HART, OPC, MQTT, IEC, etc.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic, wireless, GSM/GPRS/UHF/CDMA communication networks.
  • Experience in industrial networking configuration and system administration.
  • Ability to prepare and review technical documentation, engineering specifications, and test plans.
  • Willingness to travel for site commissioning and project execution.
