SEO Marketing Specialist

We re looking for a hands-on SEO Specialist who knows how to publish optimized pages, fix website issues, and improve organic search performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly on websites, implementing SEO best practices, and seeing measurable results.

You ll be responsible for both on-page SEO execution and technical website optimization, working closely with content, marketing, and development teams.

What You ll Be Doing

• On-Page SEO & Content Publishing
• Publish and optimize web pages, blog posts, and landing pages
• Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers, URLs, internal links, and images
• Update existing content to improve rankings and performance
• Ensure SEO best practices are followed for all new pages
• Technical SEO & Website Fixes
• Identify and fix technical SEO issues (broken links, crawl errors, redirects, duplicate content)
• Improve site speed, mobile usability, and Core Web Vitals
• Manage sitemap.xml and robots.txt
• Troubleshoot SEO issues caused by website updates or redesigns
• Monitoring & Optimization
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and indexing using SEO tools
• Perform regular SEO audits and recommend improvements
• Track performance and report on key SEO metrics

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO
• Experience publishing and optimizing content in a CMS (WordPress or similar)
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as:
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• SEMrush
• Basic knowledge of HTML (title tags, meta tags, headings)
• Experience with page speed optimization
• Basic CSS or JavaScript understanding
• Local SEO experience
• Schema markup implementation
• Research backlink opportunities (guest posts, partnerships, directories, PR mentions)
• Analyze competitors backlink profiles to identify gaps and opportunities
• Monitor backlink health and disavow toxic links when needed
• Avoid spammy, black-hat, or automated link-building tactics
