Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Website Analysis: Conduct thorough site analysis and identify current problems holding back site performance on search engines.
Keyword Research: Research and implement effective keyword strategies to increase site traffic.
SEO Strategies and Tactics: Develop and implement link building strategies and manage the execution of organic search strategies.
Content Optimization: Work with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed content.
On-Page and Off-Page Optimization: Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
Performance Reporting: Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC campaigns.
SEO Trends and Updates: Stay updated with the latest trends in SEO and major search engine algorithms.
Collaborate with Other Teams: Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on the coded site.
Technical SEO: Identify technical aspects that can affect SEO (e.g., HTML markup, JavaScript, etc.).
Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor websites for organic traffic insights.
Requirements Skills:
Proven 3 to 4 years experience as SEO specialist with a track record of success in improving rankings, increasing traffic, and ROI.
In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor s degree in a related field preferred.
