Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing SEO strategies across multiple languages and regions. You will work closely with content, localization, and development teams to ensure all digital assets are fully optimized for search engines and aligned with global growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies targeting multiple regions and languages.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Define SEO roadmaps aligned with business and content goals.
Keyword & Content Optimization
- Perform advanced keyword research tailored to different markets and search behaviors.
- Optimize landing pages, blogs, and localized content for search visibility.
- Provide SEO guidelines for content creators and localization teams.
Technical SEO
- Conduct technical audits covering site structure, crawlability, indexing, and performance.
- Implement and manage reflag tags, canonicalization, and international targeting.
- Work with developers to resolve technical issues and improve site health.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrens.
- Analyze traffic, rankings, and conversion data to optimize strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights.
Collaboration
- Partner with content, marketing, product, and engineering teams to drive SEO initiatives.
- Support localization efforts by ensuring SEO best practices are integrated into translated content.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4 6 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on international or multilingual SEO.
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, on-page, and off-page optimization.
- Proven experience managing SEO for multiple markets or languages.
- Proficiency in SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in localization, translation, or language services companies.
- Exposure to SaaS or B2B digital environments.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Webflow.
