Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The role holder is responsible to ensure a high level of service market exploitation and loyalty through offering high-quality multibrand repairs and customer care. The candidate is responsible to plan and monitor the working staff, implement procedures, take corrective measures, train staff, provide technical advice, verify documentation and ensure the appropriate stock of parts and supplies for the optimum function of all branches.

  • Plans, monitors and supervises Service Reception, Workshop operations and Spare Parts process, ensuring smooth progression and achievement of branch targets and objectives.

  • Regulates Service Advisors’ vehicle admission, and assists them in customer handling, whenever necessary. ▪ Monitor targets achievement, as to monthly ROs/Business opened by the Service Advisors, CS scores and formulate action plans in case of non-achievement.

  • Conducts a weekly formal review with Service Advisors, Team Leaders and Parts Sales Executive, consolidates the outputs and submits a monthly report to Asst. Gen. Manager.

  • Ensure workshop operation’s adherence to company standards and achievement of targets & objectives.

  • Supervise and monitor performance of reportees to ensure achievement of all Key Performance Indicators.

  • Consistent coordination with subordinates for efficient planning, prioritization and organization.

  • Ensures repair quality and monitoring of manpower performance, finding ways to consistently motivate them towards dedicated work & high-quality service.

  • Coordinate with the concerned on identifying manpower training needs.

  • Assures adherence to maintenance schedule for service facilities and workshop equipment. ▪ To ensure that KAIZEN, 5S and Auto Central Standards will be strictly & effectively implemented throughout the workshop. ▪ Random counterchecking of technicians reports and mechanical estimations, to ensure accuracy.

  • Assure that Fix Right First Time is being strictly implemented in the workshop. ▪ Ensure that there is proper safekeeping and maintenance of issued tools, doing periodic inventory and taking responsibility for any discrepancy

  • Undertake additional responsibility as necessary.

  • Understand and implement the company QHSE and OSH policy. Allocate responsibility for the QHSE management system and delegate authority.

  • Lead in QHSE Risk Management activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe and appropriate for betterment of the operation. Also that the necessary procedures, rules and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated, published and applied.

  • Ensure that all new and existing employees in the company receive induction trainings pertaining to QHSE and that they are issued with personal protective equipment as required.

People Management Responsibilities

  • Defines performance goals and key performance indicators for each team member at the start of the year, in discussion with the Asst. Gen. Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year by effective implementation of performance management process.

  • Manages the team members by evaluating their performance, providing feedback on an on-going basis, identifying development needs and coaching them to ensure capability development.

Self Management Responsibilities

  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Asst. Gen. Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.

  • Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Service Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.

  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.

  • Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5 years or more in a related field/role, with prior managerial or supervisory experiece

  • Knowledge of current and best technical specialities and skilled trade

  • Proven ability to work independently and with others

  • Able to manage complex human relationships and culturally sensitive.

  • MS Office skills

  • Professional certification (preferred)
