Job Description

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of equipment and systems. This position demands a technically skilled professional with an aptitude for troubleshooting and providing solutions on-site or remotely. You will work in various environments, requiring travel and adaptability to different working conditions. As a representative of the service team, you will engage directly with clients, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently, educating them on product functionalities, and strengthening relationships through exceptional customer service. Your role is pivotal in enhancing the reliability and longevity of products, contributing to customer satisfaction, and supporting business growth indirectly by fostering trust and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Install and configure equipment and systems following company standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
  • Provide detailed reports on service activities, issues identified, and resolutions undertaken.
  • Train customers and staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and equipment necessary for service activities.
  • Offer technical support and advice remotely or on-site to resolve customer issues.
  • Identify potential improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams for product enhancement feedback.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and compliance policies while performing service duties.
  • Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery and setup of equipment at customer sites.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in engineering or related technical discipline required.
  • Proven experience as a service engineer or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for diagnosing complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in various environments.
  • Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning new technologies.
