Service Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, servicing, testing, and commissioning of lifeboats, davits, winch systems, and associated deck equipment onboard vessels.
• Perform annual inspections and participate in equipment testing to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, Palfinger Marine procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Complete and submit service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Service Coordinator and customers regarding job progress and updates.
• Perform Safe Job Analyses (SJA) as per company procedures and guidelines.
• Coordinate with the service administration team to manage scheduling and workflow.
• Handle general correspondence including emails, documentation, and certificates.
• Participate in relevant training courses and certifications required for the position and service assignments.
• Assist the Production Manager with assembly or production duties as needed.
• Follow the company s Quality Manual, HSE policies, and adhere to applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Support other tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Department Manager or Supervisor.
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or relevant Engineering discipline.
• 0 3 years of experience in a service engineering role, preferably within the marine or offshore industry.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience in hydraulic systems and equipment.
• Marine and offshore service background is highly desirable.
