Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Managing Electrification and Automation projects within the time, budget and quality requirements.

Must have sound technical knowledge of Medium Voltage Switchgears and their Protection and Automation Systems. (Protection Relays, Bay Control Units, Fault Monitoring System, Substation Control and Monitoring systems) especially in the Utility substations and Oil and Gas industries.

Project Planning: Taking over project from Sales team, make clarifications and perform overall project planning including preparing Project Overview, Resource allocation plan, Procurement plan, Revenue generation plan and Detailed level 3, 4 work packages schedule.

Procurement and Subcontracting: Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontracts in line with Procurement plan with the support of Procurement Manager. Manage subcontractor engagements and relationships

Project Monitoring and Controlling: Analyze and monitor continuously the plan fulfilment with regard to technical and commercial aspects of the project. Monitor cash-flow and revenue generation planning and activate appropriate escalation procedures

Project Reporting: Assess and document project status and perform project internal and external reporting in line with Company and Customer guidelines.

Risk Management: Carry out risks assessment of the project from Sales handover phase until project completion, identify risks and prepare mitigation action plan. Continuously monitor the risk influencing factors and take appropriate actions.

Contracts & Claim Management: Identify early deviations and changes in project, Negotiate and document changes of requirements and extension of time as appropriate

Stakeholder Management & Customer relations: Develop stakeholder management plan and engage all parties accordingly. Inform project status to customer, internal management, project team and other interested parties (Stakeholders) on a regular basis. Develop strategies to continue and/ or reinforce engagements to the customer. Gather actively opinions as well as suggestions from the customer and the additional interested parties (Stakeholder) and develop/ facilitate/ support an open, professional relation to the customer and to additional stakeholders. Perform customer satisfaction feedback survey at the end of the project.

Project Closeout: Manage the Project completion/ close out and the acceptance of delivery units and services incl. validation and verification and organize the finalized handover to the customer and involved parties. Conduct Lesson Learned Workshop for the project and record and circulate the results.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

10 years of overall project execution experience in Electrical and Automation fields, especially in Brown field projects. Minimum 5 years of project management experience with full Profit & Loss responsibility. Site Works, installation testing and commissioning experience is a plus

Advance knowledge of Medium and Low voltage Switchgears and protection & automation systems

Siemens certified S-Category Project Manager, PMP or IPMA certification is a plus

Experience in turn-key projects with direct interface to the customer/ public authorities/ subcontractor
