Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate lighting products for their space.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Manage inventory by restocking shelves and updating product displays regularly.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure the continuous replenishment of stock.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Stay informed about new lighting products and industry trends to inform customers.
  • Support the store manager in daily operational tasks and objectives.
  • Participate actively in store meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.
  • Aid in planning and executing promotional displays and sales events in-store.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is an asset.
  • Previous retail experience, especially in home decor or lighting, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
  • Ability to lift and organize inventory, ensuring proper stock levels.
  • Proficient in basic math and handling of sales transactions efficiently.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining customer focus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
