Roles & Responsibilities

Desired Candidate Profile

a) Mechanical Engineering Degree with 10 years experience or Mechanical Diploma with 15 years experience.

b) Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 7 Equivalent) and should be able to communicate effectively with the majority of manpower.

c) Responsible for managing a distinct area or discipline within the CONTRACTOR s area of responsibility ensuring that work is being planned and executed in a safe and efficient manner to meet the TA schedule and work standards.

d) Experience in maintenance work preferably mechanical in the Petrochemical or Petroleum Refining industry.

• Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
• Must be fully aware of safety aspects of working in a Petrochemical industry.
• Must be fully aware of quality systems and can perform regular audits to convince the COMPANY that he complies with it.
• Must be familiar with different Process Equipment, welding techniques, welding tools and equipment, testing and quality control measures.
• Must be aware of Industry Standards, DEPs and Relevant International Codes.
• Must have proven leadership qualities & be able to organize up to 50 Engineers/ Supervisors of different disciplines and manage the site organization independently.
• Must be able to organize the materials and equipment for his job.
• Must be able to plan associated activities and acquire the resources to mobilize all required personnel and equipment on time.
• Must be conversant with the CONTRACT and the Contracting System and must have authority to act on all aspects of the work for the CONTRACTOR.
• Must have a good skill for managing a maintenance organization even during emergencies.
• Must be experienced in using CMMS to report cost and KPI performance
