Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Study and design of engineering designs for guide signs, traffic signs, road markings, advertising billboards, and monitoring their implementation with all relevant parties to improve accessibility and enhance integration between transportation modes by providing traffic control and transportation facilities in the Emirate.
- Study and review all types of traffic diversions, including engineering plans, in terms of design and execution of traffic signs, guide signs, and road markings through relevant electronic systems.
- Study the engineering and technical details of traffic signs, guide signs, road markings, house numbering signs, and street signs, including their aspects and structural components, in terms of engineering plans.
- Study and analyze engineering studies and important projects related to providing traffic control devices, traffic signs, guidance signs, road markings, and information integration between different modes of transportation and infrastructure, including buses, metro, trams, bicycles, and electric scooters
Desired Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of technical guidelines, practices, and theories
- Good knowledge of transportation planning, transportation integration, principles, policies, and guidelines for transportation design, signage, and pedestrian and disability access guidelines
- Analytical thinking and demonstrated aptitude for identifying, examining, and improving and streamlining multiple work processes
- Expert computer user with proficiency in multiple software programs covering a wide range of applications - A good listener and communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An effective team member who builds trust and strong relationships with clients and team members
- Ability to adapt within a team and to a work environment that requires effective prioritization and coordination of simultaneous projects and tasks
- Possesses innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical and effective solutions
