Roles & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE

If you are willing to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment within a production facility by performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks and play a key role in minimizing downtime and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency then this role is just for you!
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, mixers, and packaging machines.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
- Collaborate with production and electrical teams to ensure coordinated maintenance efforts.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies during shifts.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is an advantage.

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls.
