Overall responsibility to ensure that construction activities on Projects are executed on time and meet safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements

Support Proposals and Projects with the best construction execution providing technical support as required.

Investigate possible construction partnership for long term and/or specific projects

Responsibility through Construction Engineers for supervision of construction activities to achieve project objectives, e.g. safety, quality, environment, schedule and cost.

Reviews / Approves detail schedules prepared by the Subcontractors and reviewed by the Construction Managers.

Reviews services to be purchased from outside sources. Participates in negotiations with subcontractors, Reviews Subcontractors requests for compensation and changes in construction sequence

Supervises, through Construction Engineers, Subcontractor preparation, maintenance, and change in construction schedules, methods, manning charts, and construction equipment requirements.

Coordinates with Commercial team to obtain the status of costs and schedule, and coordinates with Supply chain team to obtain status of materials and coordinates materials release priorities through Construction Managers.

Coordinates with engineering team to obtain technical information for construction.

Supports Site Control Group as necessary for progress calculation and control and the monthly report.

Ensures that work is within budget, plan and carried out efficiently in order to minimize waste.

To be directly accountable for development of employees reporting to him and next level.

Initiate timely corrective action and preventive actions on NCR/CAPARs/customer complaints.

Ensure that HSE Requirements are given prime importance by the Construction team.

Encourage the development of Omani Staff in the Construction sites and to motivate them in their respective roles.

Co-ordinate with the Sub Contracting department for the proper utilization of In Country Value Sub-Contractors thereby to work effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
