Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities:
-
Lead HSEQ and Process Safety as the accountable site leader, ensuring full regulatory compliance, robust risk management and effective emergency preparedness.

Drive operational excellence by challenging the status quo, improving processes, increasing productivity and reducing costs across manufacturing and support functions.

Provide strong leadership to build a high-performing, engaged and values-led culture, managing performance, developing capability and leading the site management team.

Own site performance and planning, including budgets, forecasting, capital expenditure and long-term asset reliability and sustainability strategies.

Collaborate with Group functions and stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities, embed best practice and maintain strong relationships with customers, regulators and the wider organisation.

Desired Candidate Profile
You will lead the safe, compliant and high-performing operation of the site, ensuring alignment with company health and safety standards, Group policies and local KPIs. You ll be responsible for setting and delivering the site s strategy, driving both immediate priorities and long-term growth through a clear focus on change and continuous improvement.
Working within a matrix structure, you will collaborate closely with Group functions including Commercial, Finance, Purchasing, R&D, IT and HR to ensure alignment with wider strategic objectives. As the senior leader on site, you will bring teams together, providing clear direction and leadership to ensure all functions are aligned, engaged and working towards shared success.
What do I need to be successful in this role?

Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing or engineering, with a strong track record of delivering performance improvement, cultural transformation and operational excellence.

Strong knowledge of HSE, COMAH (lower tier) and ISO standards, with the ability to balance production demands with full regulatory compliance.

Commercial and strategic mindset, supported by solid financial, analytical and business management skills to drive effective decision-making.

Ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams, influencing stakeholders at all levels and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Experience in lean manufacturing, supply chain optimisation and capital project management, with the ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
