The Site Electrical Engineer is a critical role in ensuring the successful completion and functionality of electrical systems on-site. As a key member of the construction and engineering team, this individual is responsible for the planning, design, and integration of electrical infrastructure in various projects. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to apply them effectively in a construction environment. The Site Electrical Engineer will coordinate with other engineering professionals, contractors, and clients to ensure all electrical components are installed correctly and meet safety standards. This position demands excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans for electrical systems on site.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to determine electrical needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations for electrical installations.
• Oversee the installation and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Identify and solve technical issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to electrical engineering projects.
• Manage the procurement and allocation of resources and materials for electrical tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.
• Liaise with clients to communicate project progress and electrical design specifications.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Facilitate risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software and simulation tools is essential.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline demands.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
• Certification or licensure as a Professional Engineer is highly desirable.
• Experience in both commercial and industrial site projects will be advantageous.
