Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor work progress, quality standards, and safety compliance throughout all phases of the project.
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve site issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports for management.
  • Oversee the installation and testing of materials, equipment, and systems according to project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and address potential risks or delays, proposing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, changes, and incidents for project documentation and future reference.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements.
