Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute site works as instructed by the Project Manager.
• Organize materials and ensure the site environment is safe, secure, and clean.

• Prepare cost estimates and ensure appropriate tools, materials, and resources are available.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations for project improvements.
• Prepare and update work schedules and communicate any changes to team members and clients.
• Gather data, compile project reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and schedule meetings or training sessions as needed.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and provide feedback to the project team.
• Lead site engineering activities from planning to project completion.
• Ensure compliance with local government codes and regulations.
• Prepare estimates, site visit reports, and project progress reports.
• Coordinate and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Monitor site operations and evaluate work progress.
• Track job progress, schedules, budgets, and manpower allocation.
• Assist in estimating feasibility and costs of construction methods.
• Provide technical assistance to architects, engineers, contractors, and related stakeholders.
• Assist in the completion of site inspections.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors.
• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance with construction regulations and by-laws.
• Communicate with clients and their representatives and attend regular progress meetings.
• Manage site labor force and monitor the work of subcontractors.
• Plan and organize site facilities and resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
