Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Contributes to the daily operation with comprehensive knowledge in site management

Carrying out multi-sectoral needs assessment

Ensure efficient and effective program implementation while following the budget, progress indicators and work plan

Participate in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual highlights/reports and proposals and budgets for donors

Provides technical guidance, including the development of ToT for local partners and field-based site management teams

Write the job descriptions for the field-bases site management teams functions (Assistants, Officers, Team Leaders and Manager)

Assist in developing project plans and budgets for funding

Assist in developing the projects Monitoring & Evaluation tools

Assist in project implementation and reporting

Provide inputs for bi-monthly SITREPs and any other relevant programme product

As Coordinator the post-holder is responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for coordinating strategy and operations for Site Management activities in Palestine
  • Technical line management responsibilities with site management field teams and partners, for both strategy and operations
  • Provides expert advice and support to set strategy and assure operational quality and compliance
  • AOB assigned by the HoP

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in sector area working for an INGO

Documented skills in project planning and design, drafting, calculation and technical writing

Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience in project development

Experience working with national partners, local/government authorities, and UN organisations

Full professional proficiency in English

• Master s degree in humanitarian affairs, political or social sciences, or other relevant field.

• If Bachelor s in relevant field, an additional 3 years of humanitarian work experience is required.

• Certification as CCCM ToT, ABA certification preferred.

Languages:

• English (Professional Working Proficiency)

• Arabic (Professional Working Proficiency) preferably
