Who You Are:
Seeking a full-time Site Manager/NAVAIDS Manager in Iraq, supporting Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) Maintenance & Repair Support project. This position is tasked with performing management functions including the oversight and overall leadership and management of all NAVAIDS, radar, communications, and airfield lighting maintenance operations in a 24/7 deployed environment. Ensures safe, efficient, and compliant airfield operations while serving as the primary interface with the Prime Contractor and Government stakeholders. What You ll Do:
- Oversight of the maintenance, repair, and support services, including managing the team of qualified personnel responsible for performing the maintenance, repair, and support activities.
- Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure equipment/systems is maintained in an operational and safe condition.
- Conducting regular inspections of equipment/systems and maintaining an accurate inventory.
- When applicable, managing the maintenance and repair budget for equipment/systems, ensuring that all expenditures are within budget and justified.
- Developing and implementing a training program for maintenance personnel to ensure they are knowledgeable and proficient in the maintenance and repair of equipment/systems.
- Coordinating with other stakeholders, including Air Traffic Controllers and other maintenance personnel, to ensure that equipment/systems is operational and meets the needs of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system(s).
- Keeping Vectrus informed of any equipment/systems issue(s) or concern(s) including maintenance and repair needs, budgetary issues, and any other issues that may impact the safe and efficient operation of the equipment/systems.
- Maintaining all necessary documentation and records related to the maintenance, repair, and support activities including maintenance logs, repair reports, and equipment inventories.
- Providing monthly reports to V2X on the status of the equipment, including any maintenance issues, repairs, or modifications that have been performed.
- Serving as Primary POC on all Quality Assurance related audits and providing objective evidence that all requirements in this SOW are being met upon request.
- Manages personnel and the performance of multiple functional areas.
- Provides expert direction and guidance to subordinates, develops schedules, formulates work plans, manages and controls project funds and resources, and serves as point of contact with the prime contractor representative;
- Manages a diverse staff of U.S. nationals, skilled and unskilled other country and local nationals. Maintains good order and morale among their staff members and their team in accordance with the guidance and direction by local base requirements, and in accordance with VGS Human Resource Policies and Procedures. Ensures that all employees adhere to and comply with the US Military general orders;
- Ensures that all corporate procedures are followed. Ensures that annual and other periodic performance reviews and carried out and properly documented.
- Oversight of the management controls to assure all on-site staff are carryout their duties with the highest degree of quality, accountability, and integrity and within the code of conduct required by VGS, and the U.S. military.
- Willingness to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24/7 operations;

What You ll Bring:
Required Qualifications- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
- Must maintain a valid driver s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
- Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from the wheels-up deployment date to the site.
- Must satisfy and maintain all medical screening requirements
- Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: twelve (12) years experience in aviation and DoD, including serving in a leadership role as either supervisor or manager for a minimum of eight (8) years.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively with a multinational workforce.
- Experience in project development and implementation management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, developing and implementing staffing and equipment plans, and reporting;
- Knowledge in contract management including production of Scopes of Work, Budgets, Schedules, contract development, bidding-award, contract administration, and close outs; Knowledge of US military operations and contracting support in a contingency environment is desired;
- Sound civilian/military management background displaying ability to staff, organize, lead and manage a diverse work force larger than 10 people.
