Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Our Site Reliability Engineers design, deploy and maintain our servers infrastructure ensuring that they are performant, reliable and scalable via best practice approaches including:

  • Leverage Google Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) strategies to maintain highly reliable and scalable systems.
  • Optimize existing systems, build infrastructure and eliminate work through automation.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify proactively and resolve potential issues.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and changes.
  • Document and maintain technical documentation for site reliability practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience with Unix/Linux systems internals, including file-systems, system calls, and administration.
  • 1 year of experience with system design, system architecture, and software engineering principles.
  • 1 year of experience with infrastructure management and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products and services.
  • GCP Associate Cloud Engineer Certified
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
  • 1-3 years of experience with independently running production systems and handling technical incidents.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Engineer Certified
  • 1-3 years of experience with monitoring and alerting tools for real-time system visibility and anomaly detection.
