Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and monitor performance of engineering staff and specialist sub-contractors, ensuring completion of electrical related tasks in accordance with construction plans, and drawings.

  • Undertake inspections on site to ensure compliance with client requirements and specification.
  • Coordinate installation drawings, participate with commissioning and handover, including defects identification, snagging and closure.
  • Manage and monitor performance of engineering staff and sub-contractors, ensuring completion of electrical related tasks in accordance with construction plans, and drawings.
  • Be pro-active in allocating work ensuring efficient deployment of subcontractors.
  • Takes ownership of electrical issues.
  • Ensure that safety standards are understood, implemented and maintained by all team members and contractors.
  • Assist the Project Manager with on-site tasks and planning.
  • Raise any issues that may affect progress, ensure that quality, benchmarks are maintained and delivered at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

BSC degree of Electrical Engineering.

  • 6 9 years of experience.
  • Electrical distribution stations experience is an absolute advantage.
  • Excellent supervision skills.
  • Very good command of English language.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Ability to interact with project s stakeholders (Owner Governmental authorities consultants).
  • Very good Communication & Negotiation skills
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Team player with the ability to build rapport including trust and confidence with all personnel involved.
