The Site Supervisor (Electrical) plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all electrical activities at the construction site. This individual ensures that all the electrical installations comply with industry standards and project specifications. They are responsible for coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless execution of electrical tasks, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring project timelines are met efficiently. An ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, have extensive experience in electrical systems and construction management, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the Site Supervisor will ensure that all electrical work adheres to national and local regulations, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on-site.
• Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure all electrical activities adhere to safety regulations and standards.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards and defects.
• Conduct training sessions for workers to promote safety and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to electrical work and inspections.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure alignment with client needs.
• Maintain inventory of electrical materials and order supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and requirements.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure top-notch electrical installations.
• Resolve any on-site issues that may arise related to electrical works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising electrical site operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and workers.
• Proficiency in reading electrical plans and schematic drawings.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and make strategic decisions on-site.
